My Name Was Used Without Consent, Alade-Muller Disowns Alleged PDP Caretaker Committee

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Hon. Deji Alade-Muller, has distanced himself from reports linking him to a purported caretaker committee allegedly constituted within the party in the state, declaring that his name was used without his knowledge or consent.

In a statement made available to journalists on Friday, Alade-Muller described the alleged nomination of a caretaker committee as a “kangaroo arrangement,” insisting that he was neither aware of nor involved in the process. He maintained that any attempt to associate him with the controversial committee was misleading and did not reflect his position on the issue.

The PDP stalwart stated that he is not a member of any caretaker committee and does not support the formation of such a body, stressing that the current executive leadership of the party in Ondo State remains the only legitimate and recognised authority. He therefore urged members of the public and party faithful to disregard any notice, statement or communication suggesting his involvement in the alleged committee.

Alade-Muller further reaffirmed his full loyalty and support for the existing executive leadership of the PDP in Ondo State, calling on party members to remain united and focused on strengthening the party’s structure ahead of future political engagements. He also urged stakeholders to shun actions capable of creating unnecessary division within the fold and instead work towards consolidating the party across the state.
