The Ekimogun Roundtable has joined family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating an outstanding son of the Ondo Kingdom, Hon. Iranola Joseph Akinlaja, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a heartfelt tribute made available to the press through the group's acting secretary, Ms Christiana Ayodele, in Abuja, on Sunday, the Ekimogun Roundtable described Hon. Akinlaja as “a man with a large heart” whose contributions to the development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole continue to inspire generations.
“Hon. Akinlaja is more than a political figure; he is a statesman, a mentor, and a true Omoluabi whose life of service has left an indelible mark on our collective history." The statement read.
As a ranking former member of the House of Representatives and a revered labour leader, Hon. Akinlaja has consistently demonstrated uncommon courage, wisdom, and compassion in all his endeavours. His unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and good governance reflects the ideals we hold dear as a people.
The group further noted,
“On this special day, we honour not only his achievements but also his humility, generosity, and enduring love for Ondo Kingdom. His life is a testament to the power of purposeful leadership and genuine community service.”
The Ekimogun Roundtable prayed for continued strength, good health, and long life for Hon. Akinlaja, as he continues to be a beacon of inspiration for the younger generation.
