Former Deputy Governor of Ondo State and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate, His Excellency Agboola Alfred Ajayi, has congratulated his longtime friend and political associate, Hon. Rasheed Elegbeleye, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a goodwill message signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Sam Ogunmusi, Agboola Ajayi praised Hon. Elegbeleye, a former Minority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, as a strategic and principled politician who has remained a strong pillar within the PDP. He described him as a perfect gentleman and a staunch advocate of decency in public life.
According to the PDP flagbearer, Hon. Elegbeleye, who hails from Akoko North East Local Government Area, is a loyal party man whose character and capacity to deliver have never been in doubt. He noted that Elegbeleye is the kind of leader who can always be trusted to offer the best wherever he is called to serve.
"As you enter another milestone in your journey through life, I pray that God blesses you with more wisdom, strength and peace. May the Almighty continue to lift you higher in all your endeavours," Ajayi stated.
He concluded by emphasizing the importance of retaining men of integrity like Hon. Elegbeleye in politics, adding that the nation is in dire need of decent and honest leaders.
"Happy birthday once again, Hon. Rasheed Elegbeleye. We celebrate you today and always," he said.
