Ondo YAN Holds Second Parliamentary Sitting In Akure, Calls For More Collaboration With ODSG

The Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Ondo state chapter, held its second parliamentary sitting of the year at the legislative council chamber of the Akure South local government area, Akure, where critical bills aimed at promoting the welfare and development of the youth and good people of Ondo state were passed.

In their resolutions, the YAN ONDO STATE commended the Government of Ondo state for promoting a youth-inclusive governance and grassroots mobilization, describing it as a step towards ensuring that democracy is accessible to all, including the less privileged.

The leadership of Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Ondo state further urged the government to ensure the full implementation of the OUR EASE Agenda, emphasizing the need for its impact to be felt across all the nooks and crannies of the state.

In his remarks, the Speaker of the 4th Assembly, Rt. Hon. Isaiah Oyawale, called on stakeholders, non governmental organizations,local and international partners to collaborate with the Ondo state government in order to alleviate poverty, empower young people, and restore the pride of the sunshine state.

This sitting reaffirmed YAN’s commitment to contributing to nation building and serving as a platform for youth engagements, peaceful coexistence , and legislative representation in the overall interest of the youth of Ondo State.
