The Governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the reorganisation of the Government House Media team. In a statement signed and released to pressmen on Tuesday morning at Alagbaka by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, Ewatomilola Emiola, Senior Special Assistant on Research & Documentation and Kikelomo Isijola, Special Assistant on Digital Media have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect.
They have been directed to hand over government properties in their care to the office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor. "The Governor thanks the two members of his Media team for their services and wishes them well in their future endeavours." the statement read.
The sack of the popular duo has generated discourse across the State on the real reasons for the sack. As at the time of the release of this news, our efforts to get the reaction of the former aides to the Governor proved abortive.
